Joshua's First Week at Pre-school!!! :)

Well, we did it! We survived our first week of Mother's morning out. I didn't do as bad as I thought I would. I didn't cry on day 1 or 2 but I did a little this morning. I think I did today because instead of walking him in, the teacher walked him in and he gave me the puppy dog face. My heart just broke. :) awe.

Anyhoo , he did GREAT!!! I think he really likes it and since the teacher walked him in he did better! They told me it would be easier for him to leave me rather than me leave him, but that was harder for me. His teacher said he sang and danced and played with the children better today than yesterday so I know it will get even better next week.

I opened his bookbag when he got home and they sent home his little crafts and papers that he made this week. Wow. I love to see the stuff he made. It really touched my heart. :)
Well thank you all so much for the comments and suggestions. I appreciate it.

aaahhhh...... relief of another mission accomplished and it's only the beginning of good things to come.

Happy to be home. He litterally
ran in when we got there. I
think he was ready to watch
some tv.

My Baby is Growing Up!!! :(

Wow! Joshua is growing up so fast. I just can't even believe it. So next Tues. is his first day of pre-school/mother's morning out and boy am I having a time with this. It never occurred to me that I would be so emotional about him going. I cried all day off and on yesterday and I haven't even dropped him off yet. I feel like time, his age, and life is just taking him away from me. I don't want him to grow up. Sometimes I wish he could stay little. But that's life. I know I sound crazy but I also know that many of you other mom's have probably gone through this very same thing.
I know that I'm doing the right thing though by putting him in this program. Not only will I be a better mom b/c of the time away from him but it will also be healthy for him. His social skills and independence will increase. I would love to hear your stories of what it was like for you so say a little prayer for me and share your experiences. :)

More pictures!

I just can't help myself. I know I put a ton of pics on here but he's sooooo cute. I took like 150 pics of him before I got any good ones. These were the best of them all. I'm no phographer and my camera isn't the best but i love pictures!!!!

At MOPS the other week we did a craft. Joshua was not having staying in the nursery that day so I didn't get to do my craft. It was probably a good thing though b/c when I got home the next day I was able to take my time and be a little more creative. We made pillow cases. Most people did monograming of their child's name or something but I had another idea. It took me like, 4 hours to do it and it's not the best looking thing I ever made but I thought it turned out pretty cute. So here it is

I've been tagged by Lori Fuller!

Ok so I know I'm way late and all but here it goes, 6 interesting things about me:

1. All of my pots and pans must be stacked in order biggest to smallest. I like everything to be neat.

2. I like to peel the chocolate layer off of my ho ho cake and eat it first.

3. I always grocery shop at the publix on Shomberg rd. because I literally have that store memorized. I visualize the store and each aisle and make my list according. Weird I know but it makes shopping fast and easy and that's what I need when I have to take Joshee with me.

4. I like the smell of gasoline, like when my husband pumps gas for my car. lol. I know it's weird.

5. I'm scared of heights. I will not ride roller coasters, sky dive, or parasail. I sound boring but just not quite that brave.

6. I love taking naps, especially on Sundays after church. My hubby thinks they are a waste of time but I enjoy every min of it. Maybe I'm just a little lazy too.

Okay, I tag: Davina P., Holly Tye, and Sara Kolbi
